How do I sign up for a trip?

Please read the travel plan, itinerary, practical information, and payments carefully.

If you think this trip is right for you, make the 30% deposit and fill out the registration form.

Don’t purchase your plane ticket until we confirm the group and notify you via email.

Once the group is confirmed, we’ll email you to request payment for the remaining 70% of the trip, and you’ll be able to purchase your tickets.

What payment methods can I use?

The 30% deposit is paid via the direct Stripe link.

The remaining payment (70%) once the group is confirmed can be paid by bank transfer or card.

Payments are always in euros.

To guarantee your place on the trip,

respect the payment schedule.

(You have the option to pay in 3 months interest-free with Klarna).

Is the plane ticket included?

Since we have clients from many countries and locations, airfare is not included. The meeting point will be your destination airport and/or hotel (if you’re bringing your own transportation).

How many people go on each trip?

We believe it’s important to keep groups small so everyone can get to know each other. Our groups are typically between 6 and 12 people.

What is not included?

Airfare, alcohol, travel insurance, visa fees, and any necessary entry and exit fees required by local governments are not included. Globe Travel Experiences requires all travelers to have travel medical insurance prior to departure.

You are responsible for purchasing your travel insurance. 

If you are traveling within the European Union and are a citizen of the union, it is recommended that you have a European Health Insurance Card.

Can I sleep in a single room?

By default, accommodation is shared, in twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms. We encourage participants to share rooms as it helps build a sense of community within the group.

That said, we understand that some guests prefer to have their own space. Many of our trips have a single room supplement, and you’ll find the prices in the details of each trip. If you select a single room, you’ll have a room with a bathroom to yourself.

I have a special diet and/or allergies. Can I come?

There are always vegan and vegetarian options on our trips. When you sign up for the trip, you’ll need to fill out a form to let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. We strive to provide options for everyone.

Cancellation policies and terms of service: 

Cancellations and refunds on your own trips:

To cancel your reservation, you must email the full details of your reservation and the reason for cancellation to globetravelexperience@gmail.com. 

What are the cancellation conditions?

The initial deposit of 30% is non-refundable.

Subsequent installments are refundable only if cancelled at least 60 days in advance.

After that due, no refunds will be issued.

If the trip is cancelled by the organisers (for example, if the minimum number of participants is not reached), the full amount paid will be refunded.

The departure date is the date the trip begins, regardless of the date you can depart from your hometown. No refunds will be provided for any reason for the unused portion of a trip once the trip begins, even if you abandon a trip for any reason. The trip price is a package cost, and there are no refunds for unused services.

However, participants can choose to keep their deposit with GlobE Experiences. 

This option will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may not apply to your trip.

Globe Travel Experience is not responsible for any expenses related to preparing a trip (for example, non-refundable advance-purchase airline tickets, etc.). This term applies if the tour is altered, modified, or canceled by us or you for any reason. Because the tour may be canceled if a minimum number of participants has not been registered, we recommend that you wait until we have confirmed your trip to purchase your ticket.

CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES + POSTPONMENTS AT THE EXPENSE OF Globe Travel Experience.

Globe Travel Experience reserves the right to refuse, block, or cancel a reservation at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion. When your reservation is canceled, you agree that a full refund of your travel payments to us will constitute full settlement of any claim you may have against Globe Travel Experience.

In the unlikely event that Globe Travel Experience is forced to postpone a trip due to any unforeseen circumstances beyond Globe Travel Experience reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, acts of nature, war, labor strikes, earthquakes, floods, etc., Globe Travel Experience will deposit 100% of your paid fees as credit for use toward another trip.

You will have the option to travel on your rescheduled travel date or transfer 100% of your reservation value to travel on another Globe Travel Experience departure. 

If you wish, you can also request a refund of your payment, less the card fee.

Globe Travel Experience reserves the right to cancel any workshop/trip at any time and for any reason, including if there are too few participants, or if Globe Travel Experience judges the quality of the trip or the safety of travelers in our sole discretion. In such cases, a refund of the payment received by GlobeTravel Experience will constitute full and final settlement. Globe Travel Experience is not responsible for any losses incurred due to non-refundable or non-transferable airfare or travel tickets. Please note that all refunds take a minimum of 14 days to process.
